Logline:

A weekend getaway turns deadly when a group of friends come in contract a mysterious illness inside an abandoned trailer that causes them to turn against each other in a murderous rampage.

Synopsis:

Ryan takes his friends Kyle, Kate, Danny, and new girlfriend Jennifer to his family's old hunting cabin for their annual getaway.  Everyone settles in for a fun weekend.  Later that night, Ryan tells a chilling story of his estranged Uncle Tony and the trailer where he once lived. After being injured during the Vietnam War, Tony returned home a changed man and quickly descended into madness. He lived in seclusion for years until one day he disappeared without a trace. Ryan's family stopped visiting the cabin years ago and never could explain what happened to his Uncle Tony.

Danny makes a bet with Ryan and Kyle that one of them would be unable to spend the entire night in the trailer alone without getting scared. After a heated game of-paper, rock, scissors-Kyle loses the bet and accepts the challenge.  When Ryan arrives the next day Kyle is nowhere to be found. Ryan drives back to the cabin and finds Kyle walking aimlessly along the dirt road. His clothes are dirty and torn, and he claims to have no recollection of the night before.  Kyle's condition steadily worsens throughout the night. Unable to sleep, he steps outside for some fresh air. Kyle takes a short walk and tries to catch his breath. The sound of strange voices draws him toward the woods where he is blinded by an eerie light.

Kyle walks in frantic insisting that people are in the woods plotting to kill them.  Everyone starts to worry that Kyle may be sick and hallucinating. He grows angry when they try to leave and pulls out a gun, forcing everyone into the bedroom. Kyle tells them that the gun was given to him by Ryan's Uncle Tony for protection. Everyone is frightened, but Kyle assures them that he is only trying to keep them safe.  Kyle becomes violent and paranoid, believing that Ryan is responsible for putting them in danger.

Kyle is convinced that he must kill Ryan in order to save the rest of the group. Danny tries to stop Kyle, but the gun misfires and shoots Ryan in the head. Kate and Jennifer use the distraction to run outside. They hear gunshots from inside the cabin. The girls escape into the woods, but Kyle is close behind them. Kate and Jennifer find themselves at the abandoned trailer. They are unable to run any longer. Kate is in a state of shock and disbelief. Jennifer does her best to stay calm. She takes Kate inside the trailer and tries to hide. Kyle opens the door and steps in.

He hands Kate the gun and tells her to make a choice between him or Jennifer. Kate hesitates for a moment then, to our surprise, blindly shoots the gun killing Jennifer instead. She lowers the gun showing no emotion or remorse. Danny arrives at the trailer shortly after, badly wounded, unaware of what just happened. Kate shoots Danny without hesitation and leaves him for dead next to Jennifer's body. Kate and Kyle leave the trailer and walk along the dirt road with blank expressions on their faces, both victims of whatever mysterious entity has possessed them. It isn't long until strange voices draw them toward the woods where they are consumed by a powerful force of light. The End.
